Tony Torres brings 30+ years of construction experience across Colorado, California, Florida, and Mexico. With extensive homebuilding experience, he provides finish selection and design support to custom builders, remodelers, and their clients. This support can be delivered in-house, aligned with a builder’s processes and values, or outsourced as an alternative to maintaining an internal design team.

 

Tony studied architecture at Iowa State University and earned a bachelor's degree in interior design. He understands construction from planning through completion and works with builders, subcontractors, and homeowners to guide clients through every stage of selections. By anticipating how decisions affect later steps, he helps builders and homeowners make cohesive choices with confidence while keeping the process efficient.

 

For nearly 20 years, Tony served as lead finish-selection consultant for Esprit Homes. His flat-fee approach built client trust, and homeowners often hired him directly to design their home’s interiors. At Esprit's "One Cherry Lane" development in the Denver Tech Center, he designed the interiors of 48 of the 76 residences.

 

Tony connects selections to implementation, answers subcontractors’ field questions, and saves builders valuable time. His expertise includes architectural plans, construction sequencing, critical path analysis, exterior selections, plumbing, appliances, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, electrical, paint, finishes, hardware, millwork, built-ins, window coverings, and budget implications.

 

His role is to make the selection process more organized, efficient, and enjoyable while helping ensure design decisions are thoughtful, cohesive, and made at the right stage of construction.

 

Working exclusively with your chosen vendors, Tony represents your interests throughout the process. After selections are approved and signed off, he provides the builder with the specifications, information, and design layouts needed for implementation. He helps clients navigate the many choices, feel confident in their decisions, and make adjustments within the selection timeframe. Tony understands both the builder's need for clear, timely selections and the homeowner's desire for a beautiful, personalized home.
